Role Overview

 
We are currently seeking an Afterschool Educator to join our fantastic team in our Thornwood centre, based in Booterstown.
 
This is a Part-Time role, with flexilibility needed to work full time during mid term and summer period. 
 
Working hours: From 1pm to 6pm,  Monday - Friday.

Role Responsibilities

The Role:
 
  • To participate in themed days within the crèche when needed
  • To ensure the provision of a quality service to children and parents
  • To co-operate with TUSLA Early Years Inspectors
  • To work as part of a team and liaise with other team members & team leaders
  • To come up with new ideas and activities to encourage learning with the children
  • To liaise with parents/guardians of the children and keep them informed of their children’s day

Required Qualifications

 

  • Experience working with children
  • The perfect candidate would be hardworking, ambitious, creative and a real team player
  • Additional experience and qualifications are highly desirable. Garda Vetting (and international police clearance if having lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months) will also be required.
